Discover New Perspectives — Notice New Possibilities.

Find relief from stress, anxiety, and burnout through a collaborative, meaning-centred approach to psychotherapy—for people who feel stuck, exhausted, or unsure how to move forward.

How Can I Help

Modern life can feel like a constant race. Whether you are navigating heightened stress, recurring anxiety, or the quiet weariness of burnout, these can be signs that the ways you have been coping or making sense of things are no longer serving you. Perhaps you are at career crossroads, feeling stuck and questioning your direction.
Together, we work to discover new ways forward that feel meaningful and realistic for you.

My Approach

I practice constructivist psychotherapy, offering online individual psychotherapy for anxiety, stress, burnout, and periods of feeling stuck.

Constructivist psychotherapy focuses on how you make sense of your experiences.

Rather than labelling or “fixing” you, we explore together the meanings and beliefs that shape your world—why they once made sense, and how they may be influencing your life today.
My role is to help you, in a safe space and atmosphere of trust, to gently open up space for new perspectives that allow you to reclaim your sense of agency.
This process involves better understanding yourself, your choices and your true needs. From there, you can find new, more constructive ways to satisfy those needs and live in line with your own values.

About Me

I am Sanja Borkovic, a constructivist psychotherapist under supervision.
I believe that we are not defined by the problems we face, but by our ability to give them new meaning. With empathy and respect, I support you in doing exactly that – exploring new meanings and perspectives, and initiating the change that matters to you.
Having spent 15 years in economics and finance before transitioning into the helping profession, I have a deep understanding of the challenges professionals face, including stress, anxiety, burnout, and career path re-evaluation. I know the feeling of being stuck firsthand, and the exhaustion that comes with it.
However, I strongly believe that there is always at least one way forward. Often, what prevents us from seeing it is how we are viewing the problem at a given moment. Through our work together, we gently explore and expand those perspectives.

Ethical Standards

In my work, I attach great importance to confidentiality and clear professional boundaries.
I work with regular clinical supervision, which represents a continuous form of support and professional development, so that the therapeutic process is conducted professionally, responsibly and in accordance with the highest ethical standards.

Individual Therapy

Individual psychotherapy involves a confidential and supportive space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns of behaviour. In each session, the focus is on you and your experiences. You decide what is important to you to talk about and how much detail you want to share.
We work at a pace that respects your current capacity and life circumstances.

Format: Online, via secure video connection

Duration: 50 minutes.

Frequency: Typically, one session per week, though we can adjust the pace to fit your needs.

Topics we can discuss:
You don’t have to have a “serious problem” to start psychotherapy. Sometimes a quiet feeling that something is no longer working is enough of a reason.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about therapy and my practice
How is psychotherapy different from talking to a friend?
Psychotherapy is a structured, professional conversation that takes place regularly and in a confidential setting. The focus is entirely on you and your experience. As a therapist, I remain neutral and use specific clinical skills to help you notice patterns that are often invisible in everyday conversation. Rather than giving advice, my aim is to support you in discovering your own best options.
Yes. We don’t just treat the symptoms of burnout; we look at the ‘internal rules’ and expectations that led you there. When you find yourself at a career crossroads, therapy provides a space to explore your values and the meanings you attach to your professional identity. In both cases, our aim is to help you move past the feeling of being stuck and rebuild a healthier relationship with your work and yourself.
That is completely okay. You don’t need to arrive with a clear topic. Sometimes not knowing what to say already carries its own important meaning. In fact, many people begin therapy with just a vague sense that “something is off.” Together, we will gently explore what doesn’t feel right and gradually identify the themes that are most helpful to focus on.
I offer psychotherapy in English and Serbian. This allows me to support the international and expat community, as well as local clients who prefer to express themselves in English.
Psychotherapy is a personalized process, so its duration varies. Some people gain clarity they seek in a shorter time, while others benefit from a deeper exploration and longer-term process. We will check in regularly to discuss our progress and ensure the pace still feels right for you.

The fee for a standard 50-minute online psychotherapy session is 30 EUR. Payment is typically made via bank transfer.
